The Stables
At Notwane Equestrian Centre, we focus on the comfortable, appropriate, and humane treatment of the horses that are trusted into our hands, and we have gone out of our way to accommodate every aspect of a horse's life.
Each stable consists of approximately a 16 square meter (4x4 meters) indoor stable in a large building with ceilings that are 5 meters high, giving the horse all the spacious ambience it deserves. In addition, each stable comprises of a 20 square meter outdoor Paddock which is partially shaded. Thus, each horse has approximately 35 square meters of own territory to move freely and enjoy life.
Each box has an automated horse trough where water only flows on contact with the horse's mouth, thus providing fresh and cool water at all times.
The Horses
If so desired by the owners, horses will be led onto our spacious meadows every morning, so that they can chill or graze. Additionally, there is plenty of opportunity for the horses to find shaded areas in the woods which are a part of our pastures.
The Riders
There is one saddle box room for every five riders where you can safely lock away personal belongings and store your equestrian equipment.
Two toilets, a changing room, and showers are available for both male and female riders, providing the opportunity to change into proper attire before and after a ride.
